In 2020, TDB facilitated over 70 racial healing sessions for national and international organizations
In 2021, TDB was awarded The Social Justice Award by Ark-AHEAD
Minorities are underrepresented in the field of STEM. While there are several factors contributing to this we believe “you cant be, what you cant see”. TDB has partnered with several local organizations to create summer programs and weekend STEM workshops for Shorter College, Life Skills for Youth, The Links Inc, and more.
Discrimination and implicit bias impact every social system especially healthcare, education, and social justice. Education is the backbone of any community. Policies, procedures and disciplinary practices, most often, have an adverse effect on students of color.
In an effort to disrupt these findings, TDB spends the summer providing pro-bono workshops to schools around Arkansas on “Intentional Inclusivity in the Classroom”.
