Dr. Denise La Chelle Donnell navigates life inspired by a spirit of excellence that seeks to come alongside every body on the journey toward collective liberation.
As Owner and Relational Strategist for jusTalk Consulting, denise has dedicated this season of her life to living, loving and connecting truth.
Uniquely positioned by systems of domination, exclusion and oppression, Denise partners with individuals and collectives, for-profits and nonprofits, the sacred and the secular to foster intra- and inter- personal dialogues that affect systems change.
Denise is mindful to practice radical self-care. She makes time to write, sing, sketch, flirt, date, play the piano and fail miserably at growing all manner of vegetation. Denise can be found on Facebook every Tuesday and Thursday hosting and co-hosting “Community Voices” and “The Workplace” respectively on KABF 88.3 FM. She is also live on Facebook every Tuesday night for The Good Fight, a conscious bible study that deconstructs how we live our faith in service to the whole of creation.

Steve Foster
Steve Foster grew up in Pascagoula, Mississippi. His nonlinear path led him to work in the U.S. Maritime industry, international business, and a plethora of other career moves. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas – Little Rock.
He received his first master’s degree from the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service and is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Communication. He has had extensive experience in the nonprofit field since 2005. Steve’s passion for social justice, equity, and being an ally can be found in his civic engagement. He now lives in Little Rock.

Jennifer M. Gan-Kemp
Jennifer Gan-Kemp is the is the program administrator for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Core in the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She is a research instructor in the UAMS Department of Medical Humanities and Bioethics and affiliate faculty in the UAMS Center for Health Literacy. Jen is a facilitator for the UAMS Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity (SEED) program and the Office of Intercultural Education in the UAMS Division for DEI, as well as the UAMS Office of Interprofessional Education.
She is originally from California and has lived in rural southwest Arkansas. She has more than 20 years of clinical, educational program, and clinical research administration experience in academic medical centers.
Before working at UAMS, she served as the deputy director of clinical research at a neuropsychiatric clinic that specialized in serving the Spanish speaking population of southern California. She also worked at the University of California Irvine’s (UCI) Center for Educational Partnerships, where she managed an $8 million National Science Foundation grant, the statewide California Alliance for Minority Participation (CAMP), across 8 UC campuses.
This program supports undergraduate research in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in historically excluded and under-represented populations in the STEM field.
Jen has an bachelor’s degree in sociology from UCI, a master’s degree from the Health Care Executive MBA program at UCI’s Paul Merage School of Business, and a Healthcare Analytics graduate certificate from the UAMS College of Public Health.
When she is not at work, she enjoys road trips with friends, float trips on lazy rivers, and finding hidden gems and adventures across the natural state of Arkansas. A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…. Jen professed allegiance to the Jedi Order while helping to create custom lightsabers for her force-wielding friends. So, it is fitting that she now seeks to harness the light of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity (JEDI) to help defeat the dark forces of oppression!

Jionni Olamidè
Jionni Olamidè, formerly Rev. Carissa M. Rodgers, is known for being Your Spiritual Plug. She is a spiritual and cultural healer, artist and organizer. She has always had a deep desire for authentic living balanced with truth and justice, transformative learning and creative solutions for creating the life we desire.
At 34 years of age, she’s been a professor, a fully ordained pastor in the United Methodist Church as well as a full time, third generation, entrepreneur.
From her skills gained in the Church, Jionni now runs The Alternative Tribe, a nonprofit focused on creating safe space for BIPOC to take charge of their own healing, growth and development through focusing on youth development, cultural education, economic empowerment and collective wellness.
She runs a production firm called Plug In Productions, LLC where she works with individuals, businesses and organizations on methods of solidifying personal, project and brand development, management and sustainability.
She is also the author of ‘A Secret Pack of Passages: Transforming Pain into Purpose’ which is now available on Amazon in both ebook and paperback versions under her former name, Carissa Rodgers.
