Veronica Booth

Veronica Booth is a native of Holly Grove, Arkansas. She matriculated to Philander Smith College (PSC) in 1975 and attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics
Education. Veronica went on to attain a Master of Arts in Management from Webster University in 1990. Upon graduation from PSC in 1979, she was hired by Southwestern
Bell Telephone Company (now AT&T) in the Network Engineering department. Over her 40-year career, she held various positions within the Company which include:
Equipment engineer, Switch Design Engineer and Area Manager – Finance and staff support. As a finance manager, Veronica monitored capital budget of more than $2.6
billion.
Veronica is an active lifetime member of the PSC Greater Little Rock Alumni chapter where she served as Secretary for many years and is a lifetime member of Delta Sigma
Theta Sorority. She is a long-time member of her church where she serves as a team lead of the usher ministry.
Veronica is now retired and has more time to spend with her husband, Donald, of 37 years, her two daughters (Amber and Cortney) and grandson (Jaiden). She also enjoys
planning and hosting family gatherings, traveling and volunteering in various organizations. Veronica lives by the following mottos: This too shall pass and Count it all joy….. James
